Q: Which grades is TypeTastic for?

A: TypeTastic is for K–12. The early games are even suitable for pre-K! You can learn more about units for different grade levels here.

Q: How do my students log in?

A: Each school gets its own specific login link to access TypeTastic School Edition, and everyone uses the same link to access the program. Teachers and admins are automatically directed to the Teacher Dashboard, while students have access to study material only.

Q: Do you have an app?

A: TypeTastic is not available as an app. It is entirely browser-based and works on all major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and on desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, and iPads. When used on iPads, most units require an external keyboard.

Q: Can I manage multiple schools on one account?

A: Yes, you can. District administrators can easily manage all the schools in their district using just one login.

Q: How much does TypeTastic cost?

A: We offer different subscriptions for different needs. A school subscription start from $619 a year. Please ask for a quote for large school and districts here.

Q: Can I try TypeTastic for free?

A: Sure you can! We offer a 60-day free trial.

You can also use all material free of charge on our website without any logins or Teacher Dashboard.

Q: What happens after my trial?

A: If you decide to convert to a paid subscription, we’ll just change your trial account into a paid one. All the data remains intact and your students can keep practicing using the same link and credentials as before.
